"Treat Your Feet"

Hot Peppermint & eucalyptus foot soak, epsom salt scrub, and acupressure massage

Do your feet need some extra tlc? How about having them bathed in therapeutic grade essential oils, then wrapped in hot towels. an additional blanket is used to seal in the heat, allowing your pores to open and absorb the healing oils.  the result is softer, hydrated skin and muscles which you will notice for days.  A brief epsom salt (magnesium sulfate- essential for our bodies to properly absorb H2O) foot scrub adds vital nutrients while removing dead skin cells and is the final step before a slow deep massage takes your feet to a place of pure bliss.  caution; you may feel as though you are not touching the ground after this treatment - a condition more commonly known as "walking on air."

"Taylored Hot Stone Treatment"

Clients who have been to see me in the past know that I will incorporate "Hot Stone Therapy" into sessions now & then, when I feel that this modality is needed.

I am now offering it is an additional 20 minute treatment that you may request (To be combined with a massage session. Not to be booked alone.)

This modality is a wonderful compliment to the therapeutic work performed using ones hands, and forearms.The fact that massage stones are actually volcanic rock means they hold onto heat for an extended amount of time. This treatment may be performed at the start of your massage to help tense and unresponsive muscle tissue to become pliable and easily manipulated. Or, the treatment may be performed after the massage, to get an even deeper, longer lasting positive outcome. I will discuss this with you prior to your treatment.

*Please Note; Hot Stones require some extra time to reach optimal temperature. It may not be possible to perform this treatment if you attempt to schedule this less than 2-3 hours in advance.*

"Taylored Touch for Two"

The term Couple is used only to describe two people.  There are no limitations or specifications as far as what constitutes a couple.

This service is two, 50-minute massages, that take place in a two-hour block of time.  Each session includes the "treat your feet" add-on.

"Taylor Your Touch"

This Service is interactive.  I do not categorize it as a class, because it is for two clients, and myself acting as guide/facilitator.

 

Are you comfortable with touch? Do you feel at ease showing affection for your significant other, partner, your friends by means of touch? How about the idea of touching another person without any intention of love or romantic intention? Touch is an integral part of being alive, however the words touch and massage carry a lot of awkward weight in our culture.  Sexual stigma plays a part in this.  Fear of hurting someone by giving them a shoulder rub / the voice in our heads saying "i don't give a good massage" / fear of our hands cramping up. these ALL come from a lack of education about our bodies, and a basic lack of experience doing something that is wonderful, natural and healing.

During this session, I will give you simple educational tools to boost your confidence when touching someone else's body.  I will demonstrate some easy "tricks of the trade" to ensure you never have painful-crampy-hand syndrome again.  Most importantly, each client will give the other a short massage as i help you navigate. we will work to forget all of your hang-ups, quiet the negative voices in your head and enjoy the experience for yourself; in turn, your "client" feels that positive energy, confidence and therapeutic benefit. This is always a great experience to be a part of, especially to see people connect in a natural and genuinely intimate way.
